Grandeur Studded
Spread over a 3750 sq.ft carpet area, this single floor apartment at Sangam Solitaire, Kothrud was to be designed for a liberal and progressive family. The intent here was to create a classic residence keeping in mind the client’s practical needs. The vibe created was warm, eclectic and positive with clean spaces and large openings. Common area wrap with same materials like Italian marble and warm walnut shade veneer around the entire space to emphasise volumes. The entrance foyer merges seamlessly with both the family living and dining area. Hand crafted Buddha Mural at the entrance works as a good pause and positive vibes once anyone steps-in the house.
The main feature out of all the spaces is the double height living area augmented with a full height curtain on one side and a plane wall on the other side acting as a theatre screen for the projector. This wall is inturn highlighted with a mural band at the top just to add drama to the grandeur. The master bedroom was enlarged by cutting down the function of walking wardrobe thus adding to the luxury and space. The material in master bedroom was a play of single warm veneer but with difference in its finishes like gloss/matt. The seating such as sofa/chairs were kept classy and minimal with single tone colour palette accompanied by neutral furniture.
